How can I Control my pain

Hi All i am new to this site and would just like to know what others are doing to keep there pain under control. It seems like every time i go to the doctor they don't know what to do and they just have me on a set of pain medications that really doesn't work for me anymore. I'm not someone who likes to complain when i have a pain crisis but sometimes it's so bad that i find myself complaining. All i want to do is live a pain free life.
