If anyone finds that this work then I think it should be used but keep a eye on your standard blood work.
Recent studies have shown that Trans Resveratrol mimic HYDREA and can be just as effective for some.
I use the product below but in no way or means suggest you should stop your prescription !!
I have been able to come off HYDREA and the side effects of it by using this and other tried and true supplements for SCD

Thanks for the info.  I will order mine and start giving my daughter - she is 16 months and has had numerous crisis - no infections - just pain.  I have searched the net and this tea is not available in the UK (where we live) so will have to place an order, hope the ship overseas.

I make the Redcel tea and give her everday I mix it with her juice and when it is cool I give it to her drink. she is still going strong... she had a virus infection  two week ago and this would have cause her in the pass to going in a crisis but no crisis no pain she was she was still active during in infection.. she is  2..she only take her daily penicillin.

could you please give us more info about your daughters routine.  how often does she take it and what other supplements, if any, that she takes.  How old is your daughter?

How old is your daughter?  Has she ever had pain?  They are expensive so I want to know if it really works before I buy it.
