Chest Pain Doctors say is normal, But is it?

I have been having weird chest pains starting a few months after my new exchange port was put in, around a year ago. The pain was very mild and only happen if I over did it, sneezed hard, had a cough or trouble breathing. It’s about the middle of my chest and ribs right around the sternum. I have had an EKG and x-rays but nothing explains the pain getting worse and more frequent. I thought it could have been bad placement with my port but that does not seem to be the case either.
