I was just wondering how long does everybody's crisis normally last. I have seen post where people have said there crisis last for minutes of hours. My daughters crisis lasts for like 4 to 5 days. Is this normal or abnormal? Please let me now. Thanks

It is very rare for me to have a crisis that last only a couple of hours. When I am in a crisis it normally last anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks in some cases. It does depend on the situation. The weather and stress level (like others have mentioned) are huge factors in detemining that. Every person is different but it is not at all unusal for a crisis to last 4 to 5 days.

Minutes? That's not a crises...that's a twinge!

Usually, the minimum for my crises, back when I still used to have crises was a full day. The longest was about 10-14 days. The longest at-home crises (where I didn't go to the hospital) was about 5 days.

Crisis last various durations... I have crisis that last hours, some that last for days, or up to over a week. Each episode is different and so is each person.
