Let me preface this post by saying that first, I am specifically interested in hearing the *bad* stories about Sickle Cell patient responses to the COVID-19 vaccines. - How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?
- It has damaged my kidneys, giving me stage 2 kidney disease which will require a transplant sometime in the next 5 years. I live knowing that insufficient sleep, as can be common in my line of work, can cause skin ulcers on my feet.
- What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?
