Chronic Pain.
I am a 26 yr. old female living with SCD (SS). I have read many things on Type (SS) being most common and most severe form of sickle. For the past 3 almost 4 months to this day, I have had crisis nearly every day. I can probably only tell you about 3-4 days I was pain free. I have plowed through so many pain pills and I ended up in the ER once.
