Hey, I'm Fenny and I'm living in England. Been living with Sickle Cell all my life but haven't let it define who I am. I am so happy that I found this site. 20 years on this earth and I don't know anyone else who is like me. I have never spoken to anyone else who might understand what I'm going through. Reading some of your posts it's nice to know I'm not alone.
HEY Fenny, glad to hear from you,am a single mother of a lovely seven months old baby who is SS.i feel so sad whenever i remember tha he has SS but people like you encourage me.have you heard of hemoxide/I HEAR ITS GOOD WITH SICKLERS.please advice
@Dorothy: sorry but I don't have any advice on hemoxide, all I'm on at the moment is folic acid. You could make a post about it and ask others about their experience with it. I hope your baby is in good health. You shouldn't feel sad, your baby having sickle cell isn't the end of the world. Sometimes it might feel like it but it always gets better. You should be strong for your baby cause he/she is going to look to you for strength.
