Help for my Studies

I have been living with sickle cell for many year in May this year i turned 21 years but i had never experienced the situation am in now am feeling body weakness. When i went to hospital for check up they made every test and they found that every thing was okay. I cannot write during lectures and i cannot also revise on my own yet we are heading to exams. So any who has ever experinced this situation help me

I got extremely tired in classes and coupled with migraines it took me a long time to get through exams. With medical certificates from my doctor, I managed to get more time by submitting with extenuating circumstances. Best of luck!

Comment by karen graziano on January 27, 2011 at 7:56pm: Hi...hope you are feeling better. Perhaps you would want to consider speaking to the Office of Disability Services at your school. They are mandated to ensure you have equal access as other students and will make necessary accommodations. Professors are not always understanding as they can be suspect about your motivation and you are somewhat vulnerable dependent upon their whim.

Comment by Ade Dotun on November 12, 2010 at 3:30pm: hey, i have the same experience when i was in graduate school, i was ill for about a week or so, if you know you are not up to going to classes, explain to your professors what your condition is and see if can take some time off to get better, so they will let u make up the exams when you are feeling better, my professors were quite understanding and were willing to work with me. good luck.
