How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?

Living with sickle cell really teaches you how to be strong and to fight when you fill all hope is gone you fight and you have faith!!!!! It has taught me to trust in God Because at any given time your body can attack you without you doing anything !!!!! It has also made me who I am it try to be kind, thoughtful,Loving,Affectionate, loyal!!!! I’m someone that cares for others who are living with an illness because I know what it feels like living with serious !!!!!!!!

What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?

To learn about different things that they are doing in the community with Also the latest treatment they have out there meeting new people that have sickle cell and knows what it feels like living with it!!!! Also to learn about things that I can do in the community to bring awareness to people that don’t have Sickle cell and teach them about what what it is to live Sickle Cell!!!
