YUP!!

Yes with me I can barely get out of bed. I usually drink tons of water and take my pain meds. I heard that taking a nice warm-hot bath helps. Never tried it because I usually can't get out of bed until my meds kick in.

I've tried n it helps, sometimes if your not hurting to bad.

Yes.  This is common for women with Sickle Cell.  And it makes sense.  We're already anemic and then we're loosing blood.

This may or not be an option for you but I am on the Depo Provera birth control shot which stops my periods and I have to admit that it has helped reduce my attacks.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Asia I unfortunately have a blood clot so I can't take anytime birth control but I did try to look into it

I get really bad cramps and lower back pain & bad migrains but that's where I have my crisis, in my back, arms and legs. So to answer your question yes most definitely. Warm baths help me, heat packs, lots water of course and some time I even try mild stretching to help. If you’re on the go try pain meds with ibuprofen if you can take it or even Midol Complete I have to use the heave does. I’ve been trying a few things out the past few months so I’ll let you know what helps me if that helps. Last week I was cramping hard core so I mildly stretch every time I got a cramp and drank water meds and relaxed there a pain but what can you do we are women.

Hope that helps

YES, I FEEL LIKE IM DYING  :{
