stay strong

Did u have any aide effects from it? Are u still taking it?
i been taking it for a couple of years, tho not constant with it, but i personally haven't noticed any side effects...yet
For me, it took several weeks before I felt the positive effects of it.
i took it when they were doin the double blind study and at first i didt think it worked, but then i was really going through tough times and they convinced me to give it another try and i have to say it has helpd me alot
Am trying to make a decision on weather to start or not an having a hard time did u have any adverse effects? Do u still have lots of crisis?
i am also taking hydrea 500mg a day i had stop fi awhile but i am back on it it really works
alot of b vitamins also helps to stay to the top
I have been on it for several years and have had significantly less crises.

Hi Rachel, I took this and it didnt agree with me, I was taking up to1500mg and took it for almost a year, it made me worse, and it has side affects such as, very dry skin, and thinning hair. I had to stop taking it. However, my brother has SCD also, but it really agrees with him, it has reduced his crises and he has had a better quality of life, hes been taking it for about three years now, he only gets crises periodically now, hope this helps..

For me, it definitely has reduced my crises. But, please, do not simply depend on it slowly.  What also helps me is my very good diet; lots of fresh fruits, fresh veggies, lots of clear liquids, and a decent sleep and workout regimen.  I go for a bicycle ride once a day, usually at night when it is a bit cooler.  Pills alone solves nothing.
couldn't agree more
