yea happened to me last week, luckily didnt have to go to the hospital, just had to miss work for a day and took some dilaudid..hopefully it gets better as we continue it tho
Sometimes it does. I just have to remember to warm up slowly first, and then don't overwork myself. Once i start to feel those twinges, I stop, take a break, warm up and start again. I can't workout straight non-stop for an hour. I need a couple of breaks in there. I usually do 10 minutes of cardio, followed by 10 minutes of weights. I repeat this multiple times, and during the weights, I can have my breaks.

I am fairly new here but scd has cursed my body from since childhood. i am now 29yrs of age and still determined to smight this dreadful disease in its path.  Ive always been head strong and determined. I had no idea of how easily i could have triggered a crisis by too much physical  exertion.  but i managed the very incredulous task of "running with the boys" it was, to people who werent close enough to know my buisness, as if i was a regular guy and that was what i wanted.  For i knew when the time come around again i would be ready to endure much pain. To answer your question, yes you cantrigger a crisis from doing anything. sometimes it just randomly occurs. many times ive been in sheer agony, incapacitated with incredile pain that i need 150mg of demoral to attain the threshold, and in my mind are the thoughts of what i was doing a mere 24hrs ago. truly. unless youve fully understand your biological vessel and scd interferes with its intricacey, i suggest to just drink as much fluids as you can so youll urinate like a race horse and alas, just take it slow and easy no matter what you do. no need to prove to anyone anything. my motto in regards to scd "it is my blessing and it is my curse."
