Just a quick note to let you know about a paid research opportunity for Schlesinger Associates -- a national market research company. Schlesinger would like to interview parents of children ages 4-14 with sickle cell disease, and the child.

The interviews will be conducted to test a questionnaire that will be used in the future to study a new treatment. Both the child and the parent will be interviewed together and the child will need to answer a few questions directly, but most questions will be asked through the parent.

Those who qualify and participate can earn a $150 VISA gift card as a thank you.

Interviews will take place at Schlesinger offices throughout the United States, and will take one hour. Participants will also need their doctor to submit a form documenting the diagnosis. Doctors will get a $50 VISA gift card for their time and effort.

The VISA gift cards can be used anywhere VISA credit cards are accepted, and will be sent to participants by Schlesinger Associates (not Inspire).
