- Living with Sickle Cell has made a number of impacts on my life: I don't take things for granted like a lot of people do; I know that it is only because of God, I'm still living and I'm thankful because of it. I don't take my health for granted, I know that when I'm not hurting I could be, so I cherish my pain free days. I'm also a very loving, and helpful person, because of my Sickle Cell. I want to help others, the way others have helped me, the many times I've needed it. In all, I just value and appreciate each and every day of my life, because I know where I could be tomorrow.
