How did you find this site?: through research

How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?: it has been hell all along. but i thank God for going thruogh it till now. after lossing two sisters to sickle cell, and also other relatives and friends. i started this research out of my current issue at hand. i have since been dating girls having fun and living my life like a normal person, crisis sets in ones in a while. but with God on my side i always pull thruogh it, i also dont take my medications for granted. Now i have this Fianance' i really will like to get married to. on the day i proposed to her i went ahead to ask of her genotype. oly then did she get to know that i am SS while she is AS. we were both deverstaed by that and now i am cought up in this web i really dont know what do. in my own little consulations i am believing God to perform his wonders even though i know medically we have only 25% chance of having an AS child. my research study basically is to see if science and modern technologies have been discovered to tackle such problems in infants and adulthood. cos i really will not want to go through what my parensts went through and also the pains and stigma i had while growing up to be mated to my child or children. so living with sickcle cell has not been easy at all. most especially now that i have attain marriageable age and whant to take a wife. in my case i look healthy and only when i tell you about my genotype so most girls i dated in the past only knew after or while we were dating. i had good sex life and good outing while in school and out of school.
