@Fahid I hear you.

What I tell anyone who would listen is this: Be informed before you make any medical decision you might regrete. Don't let anyone pressure you into a clinical trial (if you're not sure)....YOU will live with the results...not them.

I believe in science & research, but I also believe doctors should make it VERY CLEAR and VERY PLAIN what the complications could be and the risks involved with any "treatment" or "cure".

WE are in charge of our health....not anyone else.

Hi, I just finished reading your blog post about the stem cells. In my opinion it is not worth it. Why should one who suffers volunteer for more suffering ? This is the way I love my life as a sickle cell patient, I don't know how to be anyone else. Sickle cell made me value my life because I see everyday as a blessing and I am thankful to God that I am still alive even after all the pain I have been through.
