How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?
I have a better understanding of people with disabilities and illnesses, like myself. I have Sickle Cell Disease, Avascular Necrosis of the hips, shoulders, and possibly my knees. I also have Pulmonary Hypertension. I'm on oxygen 24/7. I've had two hip replacements so far. With all that I have going on, I stay positive & live life to the fullest. :-)
