How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?

Living with Sickle Cell Anemia has caused me a lot of hardships such as job s, relationships, There have been a lot of times I have missed out on family events, I have tried to finish my career as a nurse, which landed me waking up in the hospital, in the ICU, from a stroke in which I lost all of my long hair, and wore a bald head for almost a year. I have had about three brain aneurysms where I was taken to the another hospital by helicopter.When I have said my prayer to God, I think about the battles I have fought by God's blessing. I don't care what people say, there is a better place for the sick, disabled,etc.because I have dreamed about the Book of Revelation s in the Bible. Heaven is real,as well as Hell

What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?

I hope to gain more support and encouragement from people who are living the exact life I'm living in.what really makes me angry is to be labeled some thing all of us aren't. you
