How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?: Finding out my baby boy has sickle cell disease has been one of the toughest moments of my life. I still can't believe my little chugger who looks so healthy and happy has this disease and I worry about the day the symptoms start to emerge. I have made it my goal to get educated about the disease and get acquainted with other individuals who are associated with the disease.

The day she had her first hemo appointment I felt a relief because when I went in there I realized it could be worse. Email me so we can chat together we can get thru this.
