Hi there, I noticed you're looking for other people from Australia with sickle cell disease. If you are the only one, then you have a very important task. To educate Australians about sickle cell.
Being a very important voice in Australia, you can bring awareness about this disease by writing for a local paper, getting involved in health related events (representing sickle cell) or whatever you think of. You'll find people will help you & the health community will support you.
