How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?: Its makes my life so hard.. it's like I'm ALWAYS in pain . every other week I'm in the hospital && I'm there for weeks.. people don't really understand what I'm going through && they laugh at my situation or treat me like I'm made of glass. I'm suffering from very bad depression && it's getting worse. I just graduated high school, I want to work and go to college.. but it's hard to get a job when I'm always in the hospital. I'm really frustrated.

What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?: Somebody that i can relate to and talk to.
