Hello all,

Hope you are in god health! Does any one know of any cool sickle cell events coming up is the next year in the DC metro area? I have to do an informative speech for my communications class and would like to talk about sickle cell but I need an event. Thanks for ideas!

I 've recently relocated back to the Metropolitan area but haven't heard of any recent events. I think it's a shame that there are not more events dedicated to Sickle Cell and or they are not as wildly publicized like Cancer or Diabetes events. I hope you were able to find one and if so, please let me know..thanks
