Mom to a newborn with Sickle Cell

I just found out yesterday and I am so devasted. I fear seeing her in pain or her going in and out the hospital, having complications that could kill her Iam just so afraid. I don't think I can bare this just can't stop crying for my baby.

So far my little girl is doing good! She's 6 months going to be 7 months pretty soon. We get the results of her genetics test on the 1st of June. I believe she has SS but they want to confirm also they said they noticed her blood cells appear to be very small. I still worry from time to time but the fear is not as nearly as bad as when I first posted this.Thank you again everyone for the words of support and encouragement.
