How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?
My daughter has sickle cell disease, but when I think of SCD I remember being eight years old and hearing about my four year old friend dying from one of the treatments of the disease. The doctors gave her an overdoes. I know what the disease can do, but I am trusting in God to make my daughters' life longer and richer.
Congrats to you! Keeping God in our Lif and sharing Him with your daughter can give her a life line that Him, His Son Jesus, and through the Holy Spirit can mean the world to her! I am a Mother of two daughter both with only my trait of SCA, it's sometimes difficult to be the one in pain, but I would gladly be born just like this or have a worst case than to see even one of my daughters suffer from the pain episodes I do have have since puberty.
God bless you and stay strong yourself it can never be easy to see an innocent in pain. It is not your fault and it is not her fault for being born with it either; with God all things are possible! Keep praying for her miracle as both of my daughters are my proof that He answers our prayers if we keep our eyes on Him. That miracles do happen everyday and are very real when we trust God of His plans and purposes for our lives along with those whom we love dearly!
In thoughts and prayers!
Always,
Sujata
