    Hi Ade, long time indeed. I`ve been away for a while, the reason i`ve not resondedto your comment. By the way, how are you? I guess you`re fine, glory be to God. I have not bothered to check on my son`s genotype. the worst would be that he`s AS, cause my wife is AA. Moreover, i handed the issue of my son`s health to God. He has never been sick except for malaria. He`s very strong and Restless. I thank God all the same. Cheers.

    Thanks. i have never reached out to others like me before. i don't even know any or have a friend with sickle cell. i want to share, pray for and guide younger ones. There is too much negativity out there about sickle cell. i have been hiding and playing the 'being normal' game for too long. i want to be known as a sickler.
