- How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?
- Its makes my life so hard.. it's like I'm ALWAYS in pain . every other week I'm in the hospital && I'm there for weeks.. people don't really understand what I'm going through && they laugh at my situation or treat me like I'm made of glass. I'm suffering from very bad depression && it's getting worse. I just graduated high school, I want to work and go to college.. but it's hard to get a job when I'm always in the hospital. I'm really frustrated.

Hey Arkiesha, welcome to the community. I hope u are doing well, congrats on your graduation from high school and I really hope u will be able to make it to college, I know it can be so hard with all the pain especially when people don't understand what you are going through. But u have made it this far, so u shouldn't give up now, keep your head up and stay strong!
