How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?
A learning process, my son has SCD SS, he is 6 years old, and is often in a lot of pain mainly in his back. I am working on how to empower him to understand and live with his condition without frustration, anger and shame - to not feel different or hate himself because of what he has to go through physically and psychologically.
