How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?

Sickle cell continues to change my life for both the better and the worse. I was meant to be a storyteller and Sickle cell has provided me with a voice for a very necessary platform. I've learned to live with my sickle cell taking the punches as they come. I continue to grow each and every day in my warrior body. My husband and son are my current reason to fight with intent to live each and every day.

What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?

Meeting and hearing other's stories. Finding new friends and learning from other's experiences.
