How has living with sickle cell made an impact on your life?

I am an 82 y survivor of the SC Disease. There is not a day that goes by that I don't know that I am dofferent. Looking back, it seems as if I am a prisoner to this disease.

What are you hoping to gain by joining the site?

I am hoping to connect with othero Sickle Cell patients and share information about the 2 books that I have writteno about this disease. It will give you/them an insite of care for Sickle Cell Patients before anyone else had heard of it. This was in the !940s
