I took both Jadenue and Xjade and with both medicines I have really bad reactions. Swelling in my feet and my eyes to the point couldn't walk and eyes swollen shut. I then went on the Feriprox chelation treatment and out of no where I ended up being paralyzed in both legs for 4 months. Now I on Ferriprox and it working good so far. Each of our bodies react different just be alert to anything that happens different and record it and notify you doctor immediately. Ask lots of questions.

I am not taking Jadenu.. However, the supplement that have worked for me well is sss tonic and feroglobin b12. I started taking the feroglobin a few months ago and I’ve noticed great results. Good luck!

Hello,

I am currently taking Jadenu. I have been taking it since January. When I first started, I was taking three pills a day. That sent me into a crisis. So we had to back off and start slow, with just a half a pill a day. Now I am up to two pills a day without any problems.

Jadenu is a strong medication for helping your body get rid of extra iron. I had dangerously high levels of iron that my body refused to release. This is why I was put on the medication. I could no longer receive blood transfusions until I brought my iron levels back down into a normal range. Jadenu seems to be the only medication that has worked for me without causing other health issues.

I would say, talk to your doctor about starting on a very small dose and working your way up. Two pills a day is where I am at now and since it is working, my doctor has agreed not to raise the dose any higher.

Best of luck to you. Stay well.

Hey,

I have learned that iron is something you have to ease into. There is this one time I took iron and it made me feel worst that I was feeling before it took it, also it caused an increase in heart palpitations. But I didn't go into the ER. The feeling subsided after a while.
